Albert Mondor

Horticulturist and biologist

Albert Mondor is a horticulturist and biologist. Passionate about environmental horticulture and urban agriculture, he has been designing and creating gardens and landscaping for over thirty years. In 2014, Albert Mondor received the prestigious Henry Teuscher Award from the Montreal Botanical Garden, an honor that recognizes his outstanding contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the field of horticulture in Quebec.

Author of many successful works, he also writes a weekly column in the CASA section of the Journal de Montréal and the Journal de Québec. He is a frequent contributor to radio and television shows, in addition to publishing articles in various gardening magazines. Owen Reeves

Horticulturist and gardening expert

A fourth-generation horticulturist, Owen Reeves has been interested in plants and gardening his whole life. He likes to perfect his knowledge by listening to the experts around him, putting his know-how into practice at garden centres, and working alongside landscapers, arboriculturists and flower growers.

Owen is also the owner of The Outside Element, a company offering consulting and horticultural design services. Besides his career in horticulture, he has participated in the Marylin Denis Show since 2011, as a gardening and outdoor activity expert. Owen also regularly appears on other television and radio shows about horticulture and gardening.

 

Mark Cullen

Horticultural consultant

With a career of over 30 years dedicated to horticulture, Mark Cullen is a strong reference in the field. Each week, he reaches more than two million gardeners across Canada through various collaborations in the media. You can follow Mark on television via "The Morning Show" and on radio in his show "The Green File", and you can read his column every Saturday in the Toronto Star.

A prolific author, he has over 20 works with more than half a million copies sold in Canada. Mark is involved in several organizations and is a spokesperson for Home Hardware Canada and the Canada Blooms Festival. He is also the founding president of the Highway of Heroes Living Tribute, a non-profit organization that plants trees along the Highway of Heroes, and a volunteer with the SHARE Agriculture Foundation.

In 2016, Mark was named a Member of the Order of Canada for his contributions to promoting and developing horticulture education in Canada and for his ability to explain how Canadians can protect the environment. He shares lots of tips and tricks with gardening enthusiasts through his blog markcullen.com.
