Pre-planting
- In the spring or fall (for the following year), apply 1 kg of fertilizer for every 10 m2 (108 ft2).
- Mix into the top 15 cm (6 in) of soil. This will enrich your soil with extra nutrients to help your trees and shrubs thrive.
Growing trees and shrubs in the ground
- Shake plant food onto the ground and gently work into the top 1-2 cm of soil using the diagram as a reference.
- Water thoroughly until soil is moist.

- During the growing season as plants start to grow, apply at the following rate.
